Most Haunted Bed & Breakfast in PA
The rich heritage of Walnut Hill Manor began in 1894 when world-renowned Austrian floriculturist Henry Eichholz immigrated to Waynesboro. A master of his craft, Eichholz propagated historic varieties of Prized Carnations, Vibrant Geraniums, Classic Roses, Autumn and Chrysanthemums.
In 1908, he constructed this architectural masterpiece, surrounding it with acres of botanically curated grounds. Henry operated his thriving floral empire here until 1930, when he transferred the business to his son, Herman. Though Mr. Eichholz passed away in 1939, his dedication to the beauty of the manor lives on.
In 2024, current owners Anastasia & Seth acquired the historic property with a vision to share its timeless elegance with the world. Today, Walnut Hill Manor opens its doors to the public as a premier destination for Historic Bed & Breakfast Accommodations, Intimate Weddings & Private Parties and Professional Photography & Videography Backdrops
While restoring the estate, Anastasia and Seth discovered that they weren’t the only ones inhabiting the halls. Walnut Hill Manor is a highly active paranormal site, offering enthusiasts a chance to capture authentic evidence of the afterlife.
