Brentwood Library: Exploring Mystery & Haunted History

The Brentwood Library is a vibrant community cornerstone with a rich history and a touch of the supernatural.

Founded by the Moore School Parent Teacher Association in 1947, the library originally opened its doors in the basement of the Moore School. In July 1990, the library moved to its current facility, which is located directly adjacent to Brentwood Park.

Today, the Brentwood Library is celebrated as an inviting and modern structure. It serves as a central hub for the local community, offering a diverse variety of educational programs, books, and digital materials.

While it functions as a modern resource center, don’t dismiss the library as entirely free of ghostly presence. The building is filled with the thoughts, histories, and collective energy of generations who once frequented its quiet corners.

You might not see physical ghostly spirits wandering around the book aisles. However, the tales of haunted souls captured within the pages of these books over the centuries will spark fear and wonder at the mere touch of your hand.
