Haunted Yoga Studio

Black Cat Yoga a unique yoga studio where history, wellness, and the spirit world converge. Established in 2021, the studio offers a space of serenity, healing, and vibrant energy.

The studio is housed in a historic late-1800s building deeply tied to the industrial development of the Pittsburgh area. Originally, the land belonged to the vast McClure family estate, marking the dividing line between Homestead Borough and Mifflin Township. A portion of this acreage was later sold to the City of Pittsburgh for the historic Poor Farm.

In the early 1900s, the Munhall Brothers developed the land into lots for local steel mill employees. Incorporated as Munhall Borough and named after John Munhall, the  town grew into a bustling community of steel mills, local businesses, and family homes. Today, Black Cat Yoga proudly preserves a piece of this rich Western Pennsylvania history.

Because of the building’s deep historical roots, Black Cat Yoga is home to more than just peaceful energy. Earthbound souls and spirits linger within the walls, making it one of the most unique haunted locations near Pittsburgh.

When you visit the yoga studio for a class or spiritual event, you may experience real paranormal activity.

Heavy footsteps echoing through the studio and the unexplained beating of the meditation gongs.

Sudden cold spots, floating orbs, and the distinct feeling of being watched.

Spirits who might gently tug your hair or shift objects if their presence is ignored.

For the brave, the journey continues below. The dark, historic basement holds a deep spiritual energy where visitors frequently hear the eerie sounds of children laughing.

Whether you are looking to align your chakras, attend a holistic workshop, or connect deeply with the spirit world, Black Cat Yoga offers an unforgettable experience.
