Based in the Pittsburgh South Hills, Lorrie is an Army veteran and an experienced criminal investigator by day (and sometimes night). But don’t be fooled.  Behind the badge is a goofball who enjoys a good costume, a well-delivered joke, and the thrill of a ghost hunt.

Lorrie’s fascination with the paranormal began at the young age of four, marked by inexplicable experiences that continues to this day. Feel free to ask her about them sometime. Growing up in the coal mining town of Nanty-Glo, which is rich in local lore and legends, her childhood was spent exploring cemeteries at night, venturing into abandoned buildings and old coal mines, and diving head first into every dark corner she could find. In her own words, she “grew up feral,” and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lorrie is passionate about introducing others to the paranormal.  For her, the real thrill comes in that instant when you realize you are not alone — when the air shifts, the silence breaks, and every hair on your body stands on end.  Her go-to tools include Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) devices, as she believes that sometimes, the dead really do talk back.

In her free time, Lorrie is a foodie that enjoys traveling the world with her boyfriend, cuddling with her fur babies, taking sunny “topless” Jeep rides, attending Broadway shows in Pittsburgh, and embracing any chance to wear a themed costume. She believes that humor has a place even in the darkest settings, and that every investigation should be driven by both curiosity and evidence.

Lorrie is proud to be a part of WSPI and is excited to continue chasing shadows, sharing stories, and uncovering the truth that lingers just beyond the veil.  Now, let the hunt begin!
